There is no such thing as a pass or fail in IELTS. Result are reported as band on the scale from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest)

Convenient and easily accessible
The test happens four times in a month mainly on Saturdays and Thursdays in more than 125 countries. The two authorities that conduct the test are IDP Australia and British council. For a list of test centres across the globe is provides at – www.ielts.org
Test result
Candidates will receives a Test Report which, reports a score for each of the four skills (listening, reading, writing & speaking), as well as an overall band score. Candidates get the result on the 13th day after the test at some test centre; at others, results are sent via mail on the 13th day. It is not possible to get results over the phone as the Test centers are not allowed to do so.
Enquiring on Result
In case, a candidate is not satisfied with evaluation of the result, he/she can apply for a re-mark (Enquiry on result) at the centre where the candidate appeared for the test. Normally, it takes 6 to 8 weeks and the fee for the service will be refunded if the on any component is increase.

Re- taking the IELTS
A candidate can take the test as many as times he/ she wants ,however, it is highly recommended to make a significant efforts before taking the test again to get a desirable result.

IELTS test consist of four modules
IELTS Coaching in Delhi
Listening (4 sections,40 items- 30 minutes)

Writing Tasks
There are two tasks and it is suggested that the candidate spend about 20 minutes on TASK1 which requires them to write at least 150 words and 40 minutes on TASK 2 -250 words
Note - The assessment of TASK 2 carries more weight in marking than TASK1
TASK 1 - Candidates are expected to describe some information contained in a graph/table /pie chart/diagram/process/flow chart.
TASK 2 - Candidates have to write a short essay in response to a topic which is presented as a point of view, an argument or a problem. They are assessed on their ability to present a solution to a problem, present and justify an opinion with relevant examples.
